I'm printing address labels. Sometimes an address has a long line that is too

Hi Max,
this works perfectly fine with Linux "str:gsub('\r','\n')", but I can’t

I always thought that Unix used LF (\n, if I’m not wrong) to mark a new

In just one instance I would like the following to work differently:
\startchapter[title={Introduction\\Disability and
marginalisation},list={Introduction:\crlf Disability and marginalisation}].
That gives me:
Introduction:
Disability and marginalisation
But I would like to have
and ...
(\wrapuppar{\removeunwantedspaces)}some text and some more text and ...
test\wrapuppar{\crlf\ignorepars}
test
test\wrapuppar{\ignorepars}
test
test\wrapuppar{\removeunwantedspaces\ignorepars}
test
These are actually features that are already around and (so far) have
proven to work ok. Especially
are too, so here's another
(already described elsewhere) trick with hooks,
(\wrapuppar{)}some text and some more text and ...
(\wrapuppar{\removeunwantedspaces)}some text and some more text and ...
test\wrapuppar{\crlf\ignorepars}
test
test\wrapuppar{\ignorepars}
test
test\wrapuppar
Found the problem: should not be preceded by \crlf but by \par.

I cannot get rid of the whiteline that \xmldisplayverbatim generates before its
output. Changing to other \xmldisplay macro's did not change this. How to get
rid of the whitespace?
MWE:
\startxmlsetups hvdm:docs:texcode

\xmlstripnolines{#1}{.}% <- with or with
.\starttextTest \tex{externalfigure} scaling - \ConTeXt\ \contextversion\blank\type{\externalfigure[test][width=0.50\textwidth]}\crlf\externalfigure[test][width=0.50\textwidth]\blank\type{\externalfigure[test][width=0.50\textwidth,yscale=2000]}\crlf\externalfigure[test][width=0.50\textwidth,yscale=2000]\stoptext

A crlf fixes it:

But then that shows up in the table of contents so that's not a good
solution. What is the best practice for this situation

first of all, context never uses (and used) \leavevmode and that is for
a good reason
anyway, adding any mode change command automatically will somehow
interfere,

You use a couple of chartacters that will be filtered (crlf and so).
Try weird ones, like:
sorters.definitions["biblical"] = {
method = interfaces.variables.before,
replacements = {
{ "Gen", "\\x01\\x01" },
{ "Ex", "

There was no mention of the indicator anywhere in what I copied from
your example. I did try indicator=no just now in case it should be made
